MSC FLAMINIA UPDATE

Discharging operations of the MSC FLAMINIA are proceeding on schedule and in accordance with the waste management concept. Based on the fact that as of today 80 containers are still on board Reederei NSB assumes that the last container will be unloaded probably on 10.12.2012.

In the meantime cleaning up of the fire fighting water via electrolysis treatment has started. A special container has been brought on board through which the fire fighting water is piped. The cleaned fire fighting water is kept on board.

For stability reasons sailing to the repair dock will take place with the fire fighting water and the scrap metal
