Eleven fire crews were sent to the Port of Felixstowe today amid fears a shipping container was alight.

This turned out to be a false alarm.
The massive emergency response was prompted after smoke was seen coming from a container.
However, a spokeswoman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said this was later confirmed to be helium gas.
The brigade was alerted just before 7pm and crews were dispatched from Ipswich East, Woodbridge, Ipswich Princes Street, Holbrook, Felixstowe and Felixstowe Dock.
The incident was declared under control at 7.50pm.
The Port of Felixstowe is the UK’s busiest container port.
