Watch: A Behind The Scenes Look Into A LNG Vessel Drydocking


Docking, cleaning, blasting, painting, anchor replacement, shaft inspection, propeller cleaning and testing, lifeboat inspection and testing, cargo tank inspection and testing, pump overhauls, main engine inspection, sea chest inspection, bridge upgrades and many more inspections, repairs, upgrades and testing so she can sail away all shiny and new for another 5 years. An estimated 650 jobs in total, all in a day’s work (17 days’ work) for the ship and fleet team managing the LNG carrier Tangguh Hiri drydocking in Singapore.
