Cruise ship MEIN SCHIFF 3 broke off her moorings, or went out of control while maneuvering, in Honningsvaag harbor, Norway, at around 2015 LT Jun 26. Northern Norway is experiencing rough weather with strong wind and rain, MEIN SCHIFF 3 was caused by gush of wind, obviously. MEIN SCHIFF 3 was taken under control by tugs, and brought to anchor in harbor. Both pier and ship’s stern reportedly sustained damages, it can be seen on video. Cruise ship left Honningsvaag early in the morning Jun 27, bound for Longyearbyen, Norway.
