The 33rd East Coast Truckers Convoy takes to the road as 92 lorries and emergency vehicles take kids with a variety of disabilities to Pleasurewood Hills theme park in lowestoft. They begin the journey at County Hall in Norwich winding their way towards Great Yarmouth via the A47 Acle Sriaghts through Gorleston and onto Lowestoft. As police began to close the surrounding roads, 2 coaches with parents and organisers passed and headed to Pleasurewood Hills before the trucks arrived. Police bikes ahead of the convoy came down the hill waving to the people waiting for the trucks to arrive. A few minutes later, horns could be heard of the convoy as the approach. Bringing up the rear of the convoy, coaches with more of the parents/carers and families. The truck came into view, horns getting louder, kids in the trucks waving to people crowding the side of the roads. The convoy arrives at Pleasurewood Hills for midday and leave around 1700 to then parade through Great Yarmouth seafront for 1800.
