Keel laid during December 1970, launched on 05/11/1971 and entered service during March 1972 by Hayashikane Shipyard, Nagasaki, Japan (807)
10,443 g.t. and 15,276 dwt., as:
'Ever Safety' to 1980 and
'Ever Trust' until the vessel suffered a serious fire at Osaka, Japan on 09/04/1996 and was declared a total loss, arriving at Guangzhou, China for demolition on 12/10/1996.
In 1984 the vessel was converted to a combined container carrier and training ship.
New tonnages became: 12,529 g.t. and 14,621 dwt.
