Another controlled collapse of a Ship to Shore Crane (STS) this time Valparaiso Chile, for TPSV.
This is the first time this method of demolition/dismantling has been carried out in Chile.
O’Brien Demolition had very limited room in which to carry out the collapse of this STS crane, however the unique design and location of our cuts alongside the precise calculations carried out by our inhouse team of demolition engineers, allowed us to collapse the crane within 10 meters of an existing building and 8 meters of an existing lighting tower with perfect accuracy.
