UPDATE: Container ship collided with pier, inflicting damages both on pier and itself.
Container ship TRINIDAD TRADER collided with unspecified kind of barriers installed off piers at Puerto Cortes Port, Honduras, while proceeding to berth at around 1415 UTC Jan 11, on arrival from Caucedo, Dominican Republic. The ship disengaged from barrier with the help of a tug, and moved to anchorage, apparently for survey. She started moving again after 1800 UTC, this time safely berthing at pier 5C.
Extent of damages, if any, unknown.
