At the Manzanillo International Terminal (MIT) in Panama, six ASC’s have been implemented alongside an existing fleet of rubber-tyred gantry cranes (RTGs).
According to ABB’s video, the new equipment can be operated remotely from an ergonomic control room.

In addition to this, fully automated stacking cranes allow crane operators to work with other tasks, boosting efficiency at MIT.
