I am posting this on behalf of Sven Lundeng and the Sweedish  Dockers

In 2017 Hamn4an in Gothenburg,Sweden affiliated to IDC donated 50 000 SEK(arond 5000 Euro) to a collection for Norwegian Dockers who lost their jobs in the Norwegian Dockers Dispute. The collection was run by Norsk Havnearbeiderforening and supported by Norsk Transportarbeiderforbund affiliated to ITF.
We at Mosjøen Transport Forening Avd 147 will never forget the solidarity.
Now the Dockers of Hamn4an and all the Dockers at Svenska Hamnarbetarförbundet(Swedish Dockworkers Union) are in lockout.
The new lockout action is supposed to last for four months.
It is time to request economic and practical solidarity from all dockworkers around the world.

International, national and local dockers unions needs to stand together shoulder to shoulder!
Dockworkers from ITF DockersETF Dockers' Section and IDC International Dockworkers Council can not afford to fight eachother!
The same goes for Svenska Transportarbetareförbundet Hamnarbetarnas Fackförening and Svenska Hamnarbetarförbundet.

Dockworkers need to fight for equal rights, and not compete eachother.

Here you can support Swedish Dockworkers financially:

Solidrity across boarders and unions!

Yesterday we learned that Ports of Sweden are once again escalating the national dispute in the Swedish ports with dramatic lockouts.
It is now an all out war aimed at blocking us from attaining a normal CBA for our members, identical to the one already in place between Ports of Sweden and the other half of the country's dockworkers.

We are not sure about all the details yet but it seems that, starting from the 6th of March, all 1300 members of the Swedish Dockworkers' Union are to be banned from all overtime work.

Casual dockworkers seems to be banned from working anything but day shifts Monday to Friday.

Permanent dockworkers are locked out from their days off in their work patterns, resulting in the absurd situation that the we are requested to work full time but with the employers deducting 1/3 or half of the dockers salaries.

The new lockout action is supposed to last for four months, until the 31th of July. It will cause massive disturbances for Swedish industry but is aimed at draining the union's finances.

We are nearing the end of this fight. It is time to request economic solidarity from other workers in Sweden and practical solidarity from our fellow dockworkers around the world.- Erik Helgeson, member of the SDU's board.
