Sure - Source are working with the port of Ipswich and we are looking for candidates who are happy working in an industrial working environment across various roles.
Stevedores are a crucial workforce within the port environment, assisting when vessels arrive at the port, unloading contents whether these are loose materials or loaded onto pallets. This is a physically demanding role where working will or the most part be outside in all weather conditions. Full PPE and Hi-Viz will be provided.
There are opportunities to undertake additional training with the port to gain additional permissions such as Boatman Training, Fork lift operator training and Front-Load vehicle training.
Health and Safety is essential due to working on a live port environment so all candidates will need to attend a training day prior to starting work. The next training day is the 14th February and we are shortlisting candidates over the next few weeks.

-No direct experience essential but a willingness to be part of a team and engage in physically demanding work
-Additional work to top up earnings
-The opportunity to gain experience and skills in a Portside environment.
