Bulk carrier gangway collapsed, 2 died, Colombia


2 died in an accident involving collapsed gangway of bulk carrier SUZAKI, berthed at Santa Marta, Colombia, at night May 5. Reportedly, gangway contacted pier constructions, during coal loading. Not clear if the ship was shifting along berth, or it was cargo loading equipment shift. Burmese crew and docker died after falling with collapsed gangway.
