CO2 leak killed 10, injured 19 on board of Panamax bulk carrier, China

Mass CO2 leak occurred during fire suppressing system maintenance works on board of bulk carrier JIN HAI XIANG, at around 1600 LT May 25, at Longyan Port, Weihai, Shandong Province, China, Yellow sea. Disastrous leak killed 10 and injured 19 people, understood both crew and workers. All injured were hospitalized. The ship is docked at Longyan since May 17.
