Another anonymous submission, taken at an undisclosed port on an undisclosed date, shows a container lift being undertaken by a shoreside stick crane gone bad.

Another anonymous submission, taken at an undisclosed port on an undisclosed date, shows a container lift being undertaken by a shoreside stick crane gone bad.

The submitter was unwilling to state any particulars. leaving it to us to guess and conjecture exactly what went wrong.

Like many pieces of information supplied to this page, the photograph below comes to us anonymously; with no identification as to port and no indication of a date (apart from "recent").

What we can see, is that yet another over the road trucker was taken up with the container/chassis combination he had brought under the hook of an RTG.

When the chassis twist lock connections separated, the trucker was subjected to what we term in the U.S. as a "jostling" event. Many such accidents result in serious injuries and are completely preventable with the exercise of a little diligence.
