Hapag-Lloyd and The Alliance improve AL4 service’s schedule reliability

Hapag-Lloyd and The Alliance (THEA) have decided to take measures for further improvement of their schedule reliability on the AL4 Service by introducing an additional vessel.
Accordingly, the pro-forma schedule will change effective week 36 with MV “RIO BLACKWATER” voyage 012W calling at London Gateway on September 4, 2019.
MV “Al Hilal” Voy. 001W will be phased in as an additional vessel into the service, starting her westbound sailing at London Gateway on October 16, 2019.

“We are confident that in light of the extra buffer time gained through this implementation of a 7th vessel, you will benefit from a reduced risk of possible delays and port omissions,” Hapag-Lloyd says in its announcement.
Please note that the AL4 port rotation will remain unchanged :
London Gateway – Antwerp – Hamburg – Le Havre – Tuxpan – Veracruz – Altamira – Houston – New Orleans – London Gateway
