First of all I'd like to pass my condolences to all David 's family, as well of course as his wide range of friends near and far.
David was an amazing person, and this is such a hard thing to even fathom. Heaven has gained a really special person, he had such a passion for life.. was always looking for a good time or something to make the heart tick. He was one of a kind person, thats for sure.
I wish I could thank you for the amazing time we spent together David. It will take a long time for this one to heal...as you made your way into our family so quick....and left us much to soon. You'll never be forgotten. Rest in peace David the Angel...

I would like to say a huge thank you on behalf of myself and my family to everyone who attended the funeral of my Uncle, David Smith and to those who celebrated his life in other ways, all over the world.
It was incredible to see such a huge turnout at the church, and to meet so many people who spoke so highly of David for the wonderfully unique character that he truly was! David treated all of his friends as if they were family, and we hope to maintain links with you all, aiming to celebrate his life annually each year with some kind of reunion (most likely including copious amounts of alcohol!)
The funeral church service was recorded, and so if anyone wishes to receive a copy please don't hesitate to message me.
For those who wish to know, David is buried in the cemetery at Langley Road in Walton, Felixstowe, in Block LN5 (enter via the furthest gate). Feel free to go visit him anytime for a chat! It's a beautiful cemetery and just around the corner from where he lived, so he is home still.
Please do share this message with anyone who may not get to see it, as we wish our thanks to be known to everyone involved.
Best wishes, Rebecca xxx
