The Strolling Stevedores Christmas party for 2019 will be on the 6th December at The “Trimley Sports And Social Club” with all proceeds going directly to St Elizabeth Hospice. We have a band playing on the night and there will also be a raffle and an auction. During the break will have “Baz’s” horse racing to keep you entertained, and make a few more £’s for the Hospice. Tickets are available priced at £5 each and the party is open to everyone not just Port employees. Please come along and help us to help the Hospice in continuing the great work they do.

Only a couple of days until our Christmas party at The Trimley Sports & Social Club, tickets are still on sale at £5 and can be purchased in advance through the usual people or on the night.
Raffle prizes for this year include: Jimmy’s Farm family day pass, Morrison’s voucher, Tattinger Champagne, Whisky, Empire cinema tickets, Hyundai car service and several bottles of red and white wine.
For auction this year we will again have the Audi tt for the weekend and also a Jimmy’s Farm annual family membership (2 adults and 2 children).
Please come along and help us to continue supporting St Elizabeth Hospice in the great work they do. As usual every penny raised goes directly to the hospice, thanks.

Congratulations to Ian Gow, one of The Strolling Stevedores who has just retired after nearly 46 years of service at the Port of Felixstowe. There was a great turnout for celebratory drinks at the Trimley Sports & Social Club on Friday evening. Have a long and happy retirement, much deserved.

Thanks to everyone who came to last night’s Christmas Party to raise money for St Elizabeth Hospice. Special thanks to Barry who once again did us proud with the horse racing and the auction. The total raised on the night was an incredible £1641 and as always every penny will go directly to the hospice. This brings the total raised by “The Strolling Stevedores” to £26202, a figure which we are really proud of and one which we never dreamed of when we took on our first challenge of Mt Kilimanjaro in 2012. We all really appreciate your support over the years both for us and St Elizabeth Hospice. Thank you The Strolling Stevedores.
