ZHEN HUA 25
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, subject to weather, the heavy load carrierZhen Hua 25 is due to berth at Liverpool Container Terminal 2 (South) on the 1438 high water of Monday, 2 December 2019.
As the overall breadth of the vessel and its cargo is 142.66m, the following procedures will apply during Zhen Hua 25’s inward-bound transit between Q1 and the berth:
  1. Inward-bound vessels (with the exception of Liverpool pilot launches and Liverpool harbour tugs) will not be permitted to overtake Zhen Hua 25; and
  2. Outward-bound vessels (with the exception of Liverpool pilot launches and Liverpool harbour tugs) will not be permitted to passZhen Hua 25.
Application of the restrictions will be co-ordinated by Mersey VTS and the Liverpool Pilot onboard Zhen Hua 25.
Masters and owners of vessels intending to undertake outward-bound transits on this tide are recommended to consult with a Liverpool Pilot regarding the sailing time required to comply with the above restrictions.

Furthermore, whilst Zhen Hua 25 is alongside at Liverpool Container Terminal 2, all vessels must pass at a suitable speed and distance to limit the effects of wash and interaction.
Any updates to the foregoing will be communicated via a further Notice to Mariners or broadcasts by Mersey VTS as appropriate.
