This vessel arrived in Montreal. As readers know we are reclaiming lashing at the port of Montreal. In a strange twist of fate our affiliate CUPE 375 will take the lashing down after the vessel is thawed out. We wonder how many seafarers are working on ice all winter taking down the lashing on OOCL, MSC, Hapag Lloyd and Maersk. We are calling on these companies to return lashing to dockers and stop putting seafarers and the marine environment at extreme risk.
