Shipping container full of people needing urgent medical treatment found at dock in Hull
POLICE have found a number of people in a container at King George Dock in Hull - with some needing urgent medical treatment.

Humberside Police are at King George Dock after 10 people were found inside a container. Three people have been taken to hospital, with a further seven being checked over at the scene. None of those who have been found is thought to have serious or life-threatening injuries.

A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed 10 people were found in the shipping container.

According to local reports, police left the scene at just after 3.10pm.

A spokeswoman for Humberside Police said: “Officers are currently in attendance at King George Dock in Hull after a number of people have been found in a container at the dock.

“Some of those found are in need of medical treatment, although none of those are thought to be in a serious or life-threatening condition.”
