ABB: 2020s – survival of the fittest? (video)

Container terminals must stay relevant as we move into the next decade as competition heightens. Uno Bryfors, Senior Vice President of ABB Ports, talks to the Port Technology International team about how terminals survive.
Automation is one of the means terminals can deploy to keep pace with their competitors and Bryfors notes that no terminal will be able to survive completely without automation.
ABB has extensive track record of automating container terminals around the world – from ship to gate. Currently the company has for instance over 900 automated stacking crane systems delivered to terminals across the globe.
