PRESS STATEMENT
The Zim Rotterdam will call at DP World London Gateway port today and undergo required maintenance.
The 10,000 teu ship will be the largest ever cargo vessel to enter the Thames and is expected alongside at 19.00 hours.
As a result of an unplanned delay, London Gateway port agreed to accommodate the vessel at very short notice.
A spokesman for London Gateway said: “We welcome the vessel to London Gateway to allow it to undertake essential work so it can continue quickly on its way.”

Diverted from Felixstowe after a fire in her cargo containers, 10,070 TEU Zim Rotterdam will be the largest vessel to enter the Thames as she berths at the new port of London Gateway on Friday, 13th September 2013.
