Agreement on collective for Rotterdam container business


The unions and the management of the container terminal operator APM Terminals have agreed on a collective agreement for the future employees of the new terminal on the Maasvlakte .

That report the unions FNV and CNV Ports Professionals Wednesday .
The company has 270 employees at the existing APM terminal at Maasvlakte I the ability to move freely . According to the unions would initially be under worse conditions . But that collective agreements are now adjusted.
The workers get more holidays . In addition to an automatic indexation workers also get more pay : 0.5 percent in 2015 , 1 percent in 2016 and 3600 euros in one-off payments , according to the unions .
The union members have yet to decide on the outcome of negotiations that has now been reached . According to the unions want the workers again just go to work. In the past week, employees of the container business slowly actions , which conducted the logistics industry suffered damage .

Last evening CLA negotiations concerning the CLA for APMT MV II, which will be applicable for current APMTR labour in case they potentially transfer to APMT MV II, ended with a positive result.
Due to this result we have experienced normal operations last night and the dayshift have started operations in a normal fashion.
