The incident happened on the A14 near Felixstowe yesterday at about 4.30pm yesterday and caused major delays. Eight-month-old Holly was wearing a collar and had a lead on when she ran away.
The pup’s owners, Terence and Geraldine Manning, of Hadleigh, have now been treated for minor injuries and are desperate for the return of their pet.
The couple’s son, Glenn, said a number of people have already helped with the search for Holly.
He added: “She is a bundle of joy.

The A14 had to be closed for several hours following the incident on the Ipswich-bound carriageway, near the Dock Spur roundabout, on Tuesday.“We have not seen anything along the road so we hope she is in a rural area where she can be spotted quite easily.”
People living in the area have reported there were still major delays in the town after the incident was cleared up because they were unaware when it had been cleared and were still trying to find an alternative route out of Felixstowe.
Mr and Mrs Manning suffered cuts and bruises in the incident.

If you spot Holly, who has been described as a brown and black Yorkshire Terrier, call Glenn on 01217 117617 or 07972785870.
