Hi, would it be possible to add a small article on behalf of the Felixstowe Seafarers Centre. We are always looking for volunteer minibus drivers to transport the seafarers to and from their ships to the Centre and wonder if any newly retired members of FD&RC would be interested in doing a few hours each week. Other volunteers are always welcome. We also need to recruit more shop/bar staff. For further info, please contact the centre manager.

A Chaplain from the ecumenical team will visit the port during the day. Both Harwich and Ipswich are open 24 hrs a day with a door lock code. The code can be obtained from Port Security. Both Centres have telephone and internet access.
