BigLift Shipping’s heavy lift vessel Happy Star arrived in Rotterdam carrying a total of 22 stock vessels for Dutch shipbuilding group Damen. The delivery marks the largest transportation of Damen vessels built for stock to date. While several of the vessels have already been sold, Damen notes that a number are still available and can be delivered in short time.
As gCaptain reported last month, the vessels were loaded onboard the Happy Star in September beginning in Shanghai, then in Hai Phong and Da Nang and Vietnam and finally in Singapore.
The 22 vessels ranged in sizes and designs including Fast Crew Suppliers to ASD and Stan tugs.
