DP WORLD London Gateway has launched an investigation into an incident at the port.
The incident took place on Sunday December 6th at the port in Stanford-le-Hope.
A spokesperson for the port said: "We can confirm that an incident took place on Sunday December 6th whilst a vessel was in port.
There were no injuries and no impact on the environment.
"An investigation is being undertaken and so at this time we are unable to comment further".
YT understands that this is an internal investigation.
