PORT INFORMATION NOTICE
To: All Port Operators, Masters and Pilot Certificate Exemption Holders
Clear Run For Vessels Over 395 metres LOA
The passing of ultra large vessels seaward of the Platters Buoy is extended out to the main channel buoys 5 and 6 for vessels whose length overall exceeds 395 metres.
The HHA Information for Masters and PEC Holders publication will incorporate this addition when the new edition is published in due course.

Notice to Mariners
HARWICH HARBOUR
MAINTENANCE DREDGING – FELIXSTOWE BERTHS AND APPROACHES
Mariners are advised that on or about the 2nd February 2016 the dredger Ham 316 will commence maintenance dredging of the berths and approaches to Felixstowe, for a period of approximately 10 days. Materials will be disposed of at the Inner Gabbard disposal site.
The plough dredger Norma and the survey vessel Shamrock will be supporting the operation commencing on or about 30th January.
Detailed dredger movements can be obtained from Harwich VTS on VHF Channel 71.
Lights and shapes as required by Collision Regulations will be exhibited and a listening watch on VHF Channel 71 will be maintained throughout.
