Cezanne departing Felixsowe 06 03 16

Published on 8 Mar 2016
The 300 metre, 10000TEU, Cezanne departed the Port of Felixstowe with the assistance of the Svitzer Shotley. A moderate North Westerly wind was causing problems for the mooring gang with releasing the spring lines so the pilot on-board Cezanne had the Svitzer Shotley push on the side to help hold her alongside while they were slackened for departure. Cezanne arrived with cargo from the Far East and making one stop at Tangier Med terminal in the Gibraltar straights area. Cezanne arrived with a draft of 12 metres but departed with 12.5 metres for her next port of Antwerp.
