A video released by sensor solution provider SICK shows its sensor technology solutions for container terminals, which the company state are customer-optimised to meet client needs.
Its solutions can be applied to handle collision avoidance, to provide flexible automation, as well as driver assistance. SICK’s DMT long-range distance sensor is able to constantly measure distances in order to avoid crane-to-crane collisions.
