The Port of Felixstowe is one of the largest deep-water ports in the UK and to support our continued development we are looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join our Container Division. We are looking for dynamic leaders who can work in a continuously changing environment with excellent operational skills. You will be leading a team and will play a fundamental part in delivering customer and organisation wide requirements. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will manage your team to execute the operational plan in accordance with business requirements. This role works a 24 hr/7 day shift pattern.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring assigned projects are completed on time, on budget, within scope, to the business requirements and meeting quality standards. You will also ensure success of projects by managing risks and minimising their impact throughout the life of the project. The IT Project Manager will have the opportunity to be instrumental in shaping and implementing the approach to project management moving forward.
