Does anyone know why the above vessel would sail from anchor in Liverpool Bay to a position adjacent to Gladstone Lock in the Mersey as though about to enter the lock, then promptly turn about and head back to anchor in Liverpool Bay?
This is exactly what she did last night, and at the last time of checking, she was still in Liverpool Bay.

MSC Itea berth on L2 yesterday lunch time and is due to sail around 2300 tonight. In the meantime no large vessel can enter or exit the system, unless it can pass through the Hornby Passage, until the repairs are complete.
