The Strolling Stevedores Charity Night

Thanks to everyone who came to last night's fundraiser for St Elizabeth Hospice. Due to generosity we raised £1140, every penny raised will go directly to the hospice. Thanks to the Trimley Sports and Social club and to Counterfeit who once again did us proud. The Strolling Stevedores.

Hi, you may have heard of the Strolling Stevedores as we regularly raise money for the St Elizabeth Hospice. In the past we have been to Mt Kilimanjaro, done the 3 peaks challenge & earlier this year we went to Nepal & trekked to Everest Base Camp. On January 6th we are holding a fundraiser for the hospice at the Trimley Sports & Social club & all money raised will go to the hospice. I can send a copy of our poster that's in most mess rooms & also on the screens at work. We have a raffle & an auction as well as local band Counterfeit playing

Four years ago The Strolling Stevedores climbed Mt Kilimanjaro, their new challenge is Everest Base Camp. This year we have a new team, Trevor Cable, Ian Gow, Nick Goodrum, Nick Lord, Andrew McDonald, John Mundy & Gary Newson who are all Stevedores at the Port of Felixstowe.
