MSC Donata swings for Felixstowe berth 3 with help from Svitzer Sky. 22nd April 2017 / K Line's Millau Bridge leaves Felixstowe for the last time as shipping alliances change

MSC Donata sails to Felixstowe with a draft of 10.3 metres from her last port of Sines in Portugal.
Svitzer Sky is made fast on the centre lead aft for the port swing onto Felixstowe berth 3. While swinging for her berth the pilot gives a few kinks ahead and astern on her engine. Plumes of black smoke pours from her funnel. 
The MSC Donata was built in 2002 at the Samho Heavy Industries, South Korea. Her maximum TEU intake is 4132TEU, 500 of those are for reefers. She has a Wartsila Sulzer 9RTA84C engine which kicks out 36450 kW of power and her bow thruster is rated at 1500kW.
