Birth of Berths 8 & 9 At The Port Of Felixstowe

   FXT Port new extension, the dredging has all been but completed yesterday 11th August 2014, some photos are from Landguard viewpoint, others are from the Firing Butts or Icky Ridge  the piling to create the extension to Berths 8 & 9 has commenced, some photos are from Landguard viewpoint, others are from the Firing Butts or Icky Ridge

    I see the contractors have placed,what looks like, 28 portacabins nearby. Are they shipping in labour to do the work?

      I have seen the mini shanty town !! no way people would be able to live on a Port, there are two caravan sites over the road that have many spaces this time of the year.
