The 28-year-old was driving a bridge crane to check whether it was operating properly as it had a mechanical problem. Under conditions explored, the crane led to the ground, causing it to be trapped inside.

In order to unblock it, the Fire Brigade had to intervene. The 28-year-old was transferred to the General Hospital of Limassol.

According to doctors on duty, the 28-year-old has thoracic and kidney injuries and spine, neck, pelvis and lumbar fractures. The 28-year-old is hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the General Hospital of Limassol, in a critical condition.
