This image is simply stunning, it features the small cargo ship Dimitrios, a Greek shipwreck famous due to its picturesque location on an easily accessible sandy beach near Gythio, Greece. There are many rumors about the ship's origins and how it got stranded on the beach. Most relate that the ship was used to smuggle cigarettes between Turkey and Italy.

The 81-meter long, 2822 dwt freighter Lady Rana went ashore on the coast in Sharjah, UAE. The vessel was moored off shore when heavy swells of 3 to 4 meter waves and winds of 54kph pounded the vessel until it lost it’s anchor lines.
OK, this is not a shipwreck, but it came very close to becoming one. While waiting in the open ocean outside the harbour to load coal the Pasha Bulker ran aground during a major storm on 8 June 2007 on Nobbys Beach in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. It was refloated and moved to a safe location offshore on 2 July 2007 at 9:48 p.m. AEST before being towed to Japan for major repairs on 26 July 2007.

Formerly known as the Temple Hall, the Telamon was on route from San Pedro from the Ivory Coast to Thessaloniki with a cargo of logs when she sprung a leak and was forced to run aground in Arrecife, Lanzarote on the 31st October 1981.
