Felixstowe & OOCL Hong Kong (The World's Biggest Ship)

FELIXSTOWE
"Felixstowe" Sung by Clara Chevallerau aka Clara Roxanne (left) and Maria Lara. Lyrics: Chris Brindle & Dave Stannard, Music:- David Booth (Guitars & Percussion), Vicky Clubb (Keyboard) Produced at "The Recording Booth" Debenham, Video directed by Chris Brindle
Clara is from Switzerland and has recently been on tour in Europe and New York. Maria is a Jazz singer from Clacton. Dave Stannard is a comedy singer/songwriter from Chelmsford. Vicky is a composer and music teacher from Colchester. This is Chris's follow-up to You Tube hit "Holiday In Harwich" from his musical "Guardian Angels". Chris has plans to remake "Guardian Angels" as a feature film, set around the Harwich Haven, with its musical-within-a-musical filmed in a local theatre. Meanwhile his previous filmed play completion of Jane Austen's last work is obtaining some great reviews in the USA in this 200th Anniversary of Jane's death.
OOCL Hong Kong costing around £200m and capable of carrying over 20,000 20 ft containers is the biggest ship in the world and Felixstowe is one of the few ports capable of handling a ship this big.
Filmed on the Harwich Harbour Foot and Bicycle Ferry, grateful thanks to the Ferry, Coastwatch, Felixstowe Museum, The Beach Hut Association and Harvest House for all the footage that didn't quite make it to this version of the song. We'll be back !
